Our Plating Department Equipment

• Heidelberg Prinect Prepress Manager, hosted on a Dell PowerEdge T620 server, serves Prinect 2016 Cockpit Mac OS X clients for normalizing, color profiling, and trapping high resolution Acrobat PDFs.

• Heidelberg Prinect SignaStation, running on Mac OS, for imposition of print signatures.

• Heidelberg MetaDimension with an Adobe PDF Print Engine 3, running on a PowerEdgeT320 server, creates 1-Bit TIFF files for computer to plate output. The MetaDimension RIP also drives the Epson Stylus Pro 9900 proofer.

• Heidelberg Suprasetter 105 computer to plate (CTP) platesetter. Uses lasers exclusively developed by Heidelberg, resulting in excellent imaging quality with maximum productivity, unrivaled depth of focus, internal punching systems ensure consistently reliable production and very high register accuracy on the press. Highly environmentally-friendly, the Suprasetter can process chemical-free or processless thermal printing plates. These have less impact on the environment because chemical influences have been removed.
