Production Process

The process begins when customer's art is provided to us in digital format (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc) One of our highly skilled prepress technicians checks them over in a process called "pre-flighting."

Prepress Services

In addition to our standard Pre-flight services, upon request we are able to perform additional prepress services such as scanning, Photoshop color-separation work and more.

To minimize issues on press, Stoughton Printing Co. provides two proofing stages: Stage One, we generate Adobe Acrobat PDF "soft proofs", which are emailed to the client for Preliminary Approval. Once the PDF's are approved, we then generate full-sized physical color proofs.LEARN MORE
